Summer started off with a bang, with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa! We love to find new things to do around town, and a sunset dolphin cruise felt like the perfect summer evening adventure. We weren't sure what our kids would think about a boat ride, turns out our oldest was nervous about falling overboard and sat in Grandmas lap the entire time. I don't think she minded one bit! ha!
It didn't take long to spot a dolphin, and actually the highlight of the trip was seeing a baby dolphin! What gorgeous animals dolphins are! We had a blast exploring the water and viewing Tybee Island, Ga from a different perspective. If you ever find yourself near Savannah, Ga add this to your list! We especially enjoyed the sunset tour, it was so amazing to be on the water at sunset. The colors in the sky were gorgeous, and just as we were viewing the sweet Cockspur Lighthouse a huge barge was making its way out of the Savannah harbor and into the ocean. This was a classic Savannah moment. Thank you Captain Mike for a wonderful adventure.
